Lesson 04 of 4 in Module 06
⏱️ 01 Min readCapstone alignment: what you will submit
The capstone is work-integrated: you ship a live site and fill an evidence pack — not an essay.
| Document | Role |
|---|---|
| Capstone assessment | Submission template — Parts A–D |
| Module 07 workbook | Build checklist — stages + proof capture |
| This lesson | Alignment — brief → marking rows before you code |
Map brief → marking rows
| Brief element | Capstone row it feeds |
|---|---|
| Goal | Structure / UX |
| Audience | Structure / UX + Content |
| Pages/sections | Structure / UX (1–3 HTML docs) |
| Must-haves | One proof line each in Part B |
| Accessibility intent | Accessibility row + Lighthouse |
| Non-goals | Scope — cut before build |
If your brief promised five pages, narrow it now.
Do this — pre-flight table (10 minutes)
| Area | Ready? (Y/N) | One action if No |

Do this — evidence pack skeleton
Copy the Part B table from the Capstone assessment or the evidence pack PDF. For each row, write what proof you will capture after deploy — e.g. “Lighthouse screenshot”, “nav on /about.html”, “footer contact link”. See the filled exemplar for the level of detail assessors expect.
Draft Part D now if you already know your host and AI workflow:

| Why this host (one line) | |

| What I will verify by hand |
